What could lead a person to move abroad?

There are many reasons. It is a cliché to think that the choice is dictated by better economic or social conditions alone. Actually, a driving force is the desire for change, the need to be freer, or just more carefree. Some people are forced to put off their move due to pressing personal needs; others manage to make their needs coincide with the opportunities offered by the foreign residency programmes.

Why MOLLOTUTTO?

It is certainly to ones advantage – both economically and morally – to obtain residency in the country where one wishes to move, because the benefits reserved for residents alone are clear.
However, in some countries, although it is possible even for non-residents to invest in certain sectors, it is obviously an entirely different affair.
To acquire residency (or to create a company or construct a building), all information must be obtained from qualified sources, by applying to foreign representations accredited for Italy, to on-site institutions, or to law offices experienced in the area.

How is residency obtained, and what are these countries?

European citizens within the EU may freely transfer residence in accordance with the Maastricht Treaty; the overseas territories belonging to some EU countries are thus included – one moves to the Caribbean or Oceania while remaining in the EU.
In countries outside the European Union, residency may be applied for and granted based on certain economic conditions that may be much more within range than may be thought: some countries require transfer of ones pension or income to a local bank, or a minimum capital in order to obtain the required income. Other countries require a yearly free-grant payment or the purchase or rental of a building: each country has a highly attractive and diverse array of opportunities.
And based on the mutual Conventions against double tax jeopardy, the pension earned in ones own country may be payable without tax. In other words, if a Convention to this effect exists, once residency in a country is obtained it is possible to request that the pension be payable without tax – that is, paid in gross because it is taxed only in the country of new residency.

What difficulties may be encountered when deciding to leave?

Some people have no difficulty leaving in a short time frame, while others first have to solve a number of different problems, as already mentioned.
But certain difficulties may arise from the fear of losing ones habits, even if the very need for new ideas and friendships provides impetus to integrate with other co-nationals, and this in fact allows habits to be maintained. Frequenting establishments run by co-nationals, attending a language course, watching television programs via satellite, the Internet and other strategies of social integration may be a sound remedy for these difficulties.

How was MOLLOTUTTO created, and how is the site used?

The idea for MOLLOTUTTO was born after comparing the experiences of those who had tried to move.
Information certainly plays an essential role in making choices, and
MOLLOTUTTO simply provides an overview – the information provided here must of course be verified with the competent overseas authorities.
Users may thus select the country to which they would like to move, depending on their preferences.
If the preference is "geographic," click on the map at the centre of the home page, then select the country of interest.
If the preference is “financial," enter your name, age, and at least one of the personal requirements (monthly income, monthly pension, capital) at the top of the home page.
If you have no preference, select one of the countries from the TOP 10 ranking. Whenever you click on a country, the TOP 10 is also updated.
But
MOLLOTUTTO is more than that: it will also offer interesting links and other highly useful information.
